Purpose of the Meeting: The purpose of the Special general meeting is to consider and, if thought fit, pass the following Special Resolution to adopt a new Constitution for the Association.
Special Resolution: That the members of the New South Wales Ice Hockey Association Inc. adopt the proposed new Constitution dated October 2025, in substitution for and to the exclusion of the existing Constitution, amendments and Bylaws.
Explanatory Note: This Special Resolution seeks member approval to replace the Association’s existing Constitution, amendments and Bylaws with a new version that reflects modern governance standards. A copy of the proposed new Constitution has been circulated to all members and are available for review link here.
Voting Requirements: This motion is a Special Resolution and must be passed by at least 75% of eligible members present and entitled to vote at the meeting, as required under clause Part 4 25-33 of the current Constitution and section 39 of the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 (NSW).
Voting only for current members of Ice Hockey NSW as of October 31st 2025 when the membership role closes.
