The Stephanie Boxall National Women’s Championship Team is New South Wales’ premier female ice-hockey squad, selected each year to represent the state at this national tournament for women aged 14+.
Players chosen for this squad are recognised for their elite skill, teamwork and dedication both on and off the ice. They enter camp, train rigorously and then compete against other state teams from across Australia with the aim of bringing the trophy home.
The tournament is named in honour of pioneering Australian ice-hockey star Stephanie Boxall, who helped blaze the trail for women in the sport.
Featuring the best female athletes of the state, the team exemplifies the spirit of competition, development and aspiration that the Championship embodies.
