AWIHL Sydney Sirens – Head Coach and Manager

IHNSW is calling for nominations for Head Coach and Team Manager for the Sydney Sirens AWIHL Team. The Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL) is a national league that provides the highest level of competition played regularly by our female competitors.

Sydney Sirens compete in the AWIHL over Summer, with training due to start early October with games beginning early November. Schedule still being finalised.

To apply send an email to the IHNSW office on the contact details below and include: 
– your history and experience in Ice Hockey
– if applying to Coach your qualifications (minimum Level 1 IHA Coaching Accreditation)

There is a short turn around on this, please pass to all interested parties in your Clubs.

IHNSW is pleased to announce the NSW Team competing at the Phil Ginsberg National Championship, being held between 2nd and 5th of August at OBI in Melbourne, Victoria.

First Training is next Sunday 18th June 230pm-330pm at HISS. Selection to a State Team is a privilege and acceptance of a position on the Ginsberg team means that the player will remain committed to their Club hockey and all state trainings.

Reserves are encouraged to train with the team at all times.
