2019 De Fris Team Announcement

Head Coach David Costa is pleased to announce the NSW Team to compete at the Kurt De Fris National Championship in Perth, WA from 31st July to 3rd August 2019.

The coaches and selectors were impressed with the skill level shown throughout the tryouts and thank everyone for their hard work and effort. Congratulations to the following players on their selection.

Reserves are encouraged to train with the team and understand that they may be called upon to fulfil a roster position if required.

The team will commence training this Sunday at Canterbury. Players and parents are asked to be at Canterbury at 915am for information and testing, followed by on-ice training at 1015am, and further testing and information at 1115am, a total of 3 hours this Sunday morning.

2019 Ginsberg Tryouts

Saturday 15th June 415pm to 515pm at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium
Sunday 23rd June 215pm to 315pm at Erina

TRYOUT COST $40.00 payable HERE

A 3rd tryout will be INVITATION ONLY, determined after tryouts 1&2 ($22)
Saturday 29th June 300pm to 400pm at Penrith Ice Palace

All eligible Peewee aged players are invited to attend tryouts for the NSW Team
to participate in the 2019 NSW Ginsberg National Championship,
which will be held from 15th to 18th August in Erina, NSW.

Squirts aged players may attend by invitation only. Squirts will receive their invites no later than 1 week before the first tryout.

Players that are unavailable during the tryout period are asked to register online for tryouts and contact IHNSW in writing

IHNSW will provide selectors to evaluate and select players from the tryouts. Input may be sought from Club Team coaches but it is to your advantage to attend both tryouts.

The $40 tryout fee is payable regardless of the number of tryouts you attend.

It is essential players wear your CLUB jersey or a jersey with your name and number on it and you must wear the same jersey to all tryouts. The selectors will be identifying you by what you are wearing and it needs to correspond to the jersey listed.

Team members will be required to stay in team accommodation with Team Officials for the duration of the tournament. There will be charges to cover the tournament entry fees, accommodation, food, entertainment and bus hire. A detailed budget will be released to the team after selection.
