All eligible 18U Midget age players are invited to attend tryouts for the IHNSW Team to participate in the 2022 Syd Tange National Championship. Dates are pending confirmation as July 6^th-9^th in WA.

Attendance at tryouts 1 & 2 is expected and the 3^rd tryout is invitation only (coaches discretion). Any IHNSW registered players currently playing overseas must send a letter or expression of interest to

IHNSW will provide selectors to evaluate and select players from the tryouts. Input may be sought from Club Team coaches, but it is to your advantage to attend tryout 1 & 2.

The $45.00 tryout fee is payable regardless of the number of open tryouts you attend.

It is essential players wear you’re CLUB jersey or a jersey with your name and number on it and you must wear the same jersey to all three tryouts. The selectors will be identifying you by what you are wearing, and it needs to correspond to the jersey listed.

All players attending tryouts are expected to have, as a minimum completed the online Linesman course as per the State Representative rule. If you have attended a course at any time you are eligible to be selected. There are no exceptions to the rule.

Team members will be required to stay in team accommodation with Team Officials for the duration of the tournament. There will be charges to cover tournament entry fees, accommodation, food, entertainment and bus hire. A detailed budget will be released to the team after selection.
